According to an official OnePlus response to a Twitter user who reported that their own top-end mobile device had hit the dangerously high temperature of 61.6 degrees Celsius. Converted to Fahrenheit, that’s 142.88 degrees.
The OnePlus 5T is finally getting a fix for its overheating problem via an update the company is currently rolling out.
It isn’t immediately clear what the exact problem with the device is since the response didn’t include any such information.
According to the support team on Twitter, the update has already begun to roll out.
Thanks for the result, Sai. Looks like it is really hot, considering it reached a 61 degree temperature. Not to worry though. We rolled out an update for the OnePlus 5T to fix the issue. You may receive it in a few days as it is rolled out incrementally.
