The OnePlus 6’s announcement is just around the corner, and even though we don’t know when exactly will the phone arrive, the fact that the OnePlus 5T is now out of stock in Europe as well, definitely suggests that the OnePlus 6 announcement is coming really soon.
Those of you who have been thinking of getting the OnePlus 5T directly from OnePlus (via OnePlus.com) in Europe no longer can do that, as the device is not available across the continent, the UK included, though you can still get it through O2 in the UK, for example, while some unofficial channels are also still selling the device.
Now, the OnePlus 5T is the company’s fastest-selling smartphone ever, and it seems like it sold out sooner than expected. A 6GB RAM variant of the phone sold out in Europe quite recently, and now its 8GB RAM variant is not available either.
The same happened in the US, though sooner than in Europe, as neither of the two variants have been available in the US for the past couple of weeks (since March). Having said that, OnePlus has been teasing the arrival of the OnePlus 6 for quite some time now, the company has already confirmed that the phone will sport a display notch, while a repositioned alert slider will also be a part of the package.
We also know that navigation gestures will be available on the device, thanks to OnePlus’ confirmation, while Evan Blass leaked the phone’s back side quite recently, and that image was probably legit as well, which means that the device will sport a wood-like back cover.
