The next OnePlus flagship phone looks set to boast impressive benchmark scores, with a notch at the top of the display, based on a new report out of Android Central which draws on screenshots said to have been received by a “source close to OnePlus.”
According to the screenshots, and the reason these are thought to be acting as further confirmation of the notch is the shots show very little activity in the status bar and none where the notch would be positioned.
The aspect ratio of the screenshots is 19:9 — which is effectively 18:9 with a little extra space up top for the notch. Design aside and the screenshots show the phone – currently going by the ‘OnePlus A6000’ codename – as having recently undertaking an AnTuTu test.
The results of which is the OnePlus 6 scoring 276510, if correct, they do show the OnePlus 6 as a high performing smartphone. This will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
Although these are fairly big assumptions to make based on leaked screenshots, they are not without precedent. While additionally looking to confirm the inclusion of Android 8.1 oreo as the operating system version in use.
